In1993, Francisco and Aurelio found their "perfect spot" in the heart of the city of West Hollywood. Besides all the challenges they faced in the early years and the longer working hours, the local community embraced the concept and supported the newly opened Brazilian eatery.
The result was a very vibrant, value- minded and successful spot that conquered the daily habits of the locals. Bossa Nova was born and became one of the busiest restaurants in town.
The foundation for their success was planted. In 1998, they opened their second location in the center of Hollywood on the historic building of the Original Famous Amous Cookie factory at the legendary Sunset Blvd. The restaurant services the local community until the late hours of the day and became an instant success for the locals and several movie stars and celebrities that can be seen in that spot in a regular basis.
In 2004, they opened their third location in the world famous Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills.
Finally, in 2007, their latest addition was a new restaurant opened in the west side, which also became an instant hit in the area, serving the local community until late hours as well.
The Bossa Nova success up to this date, basically rely on Francisco and Aurelioīs drive towards perfection.
Even today, you can see them going to the restaurants in a daily basis. They always try new products, improve the services and discuss with fellow employees ways to improve and offer to their customers a wide variety of products and services.
Even though they have been very lucky and successful since their arrival in the US which they now call home, they appreciate their customers, local communities and their teamīs support to keep Bossa Nova the best it can be. And they are very thankful for the opportunity that was presented to them.
Today, Francisco and Aurelio have their own families with two beautiful American born children each.
They have their own philosophy which keeps them going: Keep the passion alive and never give up on your dreams!
